As an independent school, Countryside receives no state or federal funding. Tuition is calculated to cover the operating costs of the school. Each fall the Board of Directors approves the amount, after extensive work by the Board’s Finance Committee. Fees are set to cover classroom supplies, field trips and special activities.
For the convenience of parents, there are four different payment plans available. Payments may be made on an annual, semiannual, quarterly, or monthly plan.
New students pay a one-time New Student Enrollment Fee of $1,000 (for grades K-6) or $500 (for grades 7-8). This fee is capped at $2,000 per family for families with multiple children attending Countryside.
Tuition assistance is available for those families who demonstrate financial need. The application for assistance should be submitted to the school at the same time as the application for admission. We want to stress that admissions decisions are made first and completely separately from decisions about financial assistance.
