Laura Carter-Stone Update

Laura Carter-Stone is now attending Grinnell College. She still plans to fulfill her dream of becoming a writer which she hatched in the 2nd grade at Countryside! Laura moved to Kentucky following third grade. She graduated in May from Lexington Catholic High School receiving the following awards:
- National Society of Arts and Letters (Kentucky Chapter) 2009 Outstanding Senior in the Arts
- National School Choral Award
- National Merit Scholarship Program
- Lexington Woman's Club 2008-09 Creative Writing Award
- Commonwealth of Kentucky Academic Award
