MathCounts Team Takes 1st at Regionals

Congratulations to our MathCounts team! Countryside’s team took first place in the regional MathCounts competition on Saturday, February 13 at the University of Illinois. Uni High School’s team (including Countryside alumnus Arch Robinson) placed second.
In individual competition, 7th grader Cole placed first, Countryside alum Arch placed second, and 7th grader Masashi took third.
Our team will attend an awards banquet with the Illinois Society of Professional Engineers on February 26 and will compete at the state competition on March 6 in Matteson.
