COVID-19 Impact

Spring 2022 Update

The difference a year makes! As the school year started in Fall 2021, we were excited to embark on a year with everyone back in person. Most of our middle schoolers were vaccinated and we added weekly COVID testing for the entire school. As of this spring, vaccines are available for even our youngest students.

Countryside is dedicated to keeping our school community safe, so the following requirements are in place:

  • Our entire staff and faculty are fully vaccinated.
  • We highly encourage that our students be vaccinated against COVID. In fact, majority of our students are fully vaccinated.
  • Masks are required to be worn by everyone in the building, regardless of vaccination status.
  • Our students, faculty, and staff are COVID tested each week at school. Countryside has partnered with SHIELD Illinois to provide this testing.

Our plans will evolve as we continue to work with the CDC, IDPH, and our local health department's guidelines for safe school operation.

"A big THANK YOU to all of the Countryside faculty and staff. Your innovation and dedication have been the key to helping our families adjust to all of this craziness. Continuing our children's education as well as just keeping them in a school-type routine has been invaluable. THANK YOU!" Parent - April 2020
