COVID-19 Impact

Fall 2022 Update

We have come a long way in the past two years! With vaccines and testing easily available, we are working our way back to our new normal. As of last spring, vaccines became available for even our youngest students.

Countryside is dedicated to keeping our school community safe, so the following requirements are in place:

  • Our entire staff and faculty are fully vaccinated against COVID.
  • We highly encourage that our students be vaccinated against COVID.
  • Our students, faculty, and staff are COVID-tested each week at school. Countryside has partnered with SHIELD Illinois to provide this testing.
  • Masks are optional for our students and staff because they are tested weekly. During the school day, masks are required to be worn by all visitors inside our building, regardless of vaccination status.

Our plans will evolve as we continue to work with the CDC, IDPH, and our local health department's guidelines for safe school operation.

"A big THANK YOU to all of the Countryside faculty and staff. Your innovation and dedication have been the key to helping our families adjust to all of this craziness. Continuing our children's education as well as just keeping them in a school-type routine has been invaluable. THANK YOU!" Parent - April 2020
