CSA
Countryside School Association helps further our wonderful sense of community
Every Countryside parent/guardian is a member of the Countryside School Association, our parent organization (the equivalent of the PTA in other schools). With support from the school staff, the CSA is led by parents who help organize events and social activities for families.
The CSA holds general meetings one Thursday each month in the morning after drop off (see calendar for dates). In addition, committees working on specific events hold separate meetings at the convenience of the particular committee.
The CSA does some fundraising (such as holding school lunch fundraisers or fundraisers in collaboration with local restaurants) to help fund the social events they host. The CSA has also donated to school improvements, like contributing toward the construction of our corner sign and purchasing a pop-up tent to provide shade for our soccer team.
In addition to attending these wonderful events, we would love for you to volunteer with us.
CSA hosted events with volunteer opportunities:
- Fall Picnic/Homecoming
- Potluck lunches for faculty on Parent-Teacher Conference days
- Family Movie Nights
- Book Fairs
- Athletics concessions sales
- Family Ice Skating Party
- Teacher Appreciation Week activities
Interested in getting involved in planning these wonderful school events? Attend a CSA meeting to get started. Or reach out to the CSA Chair at csa@countrysideschool.org if you have questions.
